National/Alamo at the West Palm Beach Airport is excited to announce the opening of Lot Attendant. This is a full time position (40 hours per week) that pays $10 per hour. The Lot Attendant provides support to our fleet logistics team, by assisting in the traffic flow and organization of units on lot.  Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.



Schedule flexibility required.

Apart from religious observations must be able to work mornings, afternoons, night, weekends and holidays. Weekly schedule between 38-40 hours.



Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Facilitate the infleeting process and ensure new cars are ready to be rented including license plates, registration, fluids, title and aftermarket equipment installation
  • Receiving of cars from the rental branches
  • Controlling the parking of inventory
  • Detecting damage on incoming vehicles
  • Checking in the cars and writing a description of damage
  • Some minor computer entry to tag vehicles as checked in
  • Organization of the parking lot(s) and inventory
  • Inventory tracking and reconciliation
  • Location of keys for units being moved
  • Reparking of sold units
  • Interaction and coordination with both transport drivers and the driver employees
  • Organize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely
  • Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed
  • Coordination of cars at reconditioning facilities
  • Local driving to and from reconditioning centers
  • Tracking of outgoing inventory
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned


  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • 6 months of work experience required 
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Must not have any DUI/DWI or other drug or alcohol related convictions on your driving record in the past 5 years
  • Must have no more than 2 moving violations on your driving record in the past 3 years
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
