National Alamo has an exciting opportunity for a Service Center Support Representative at the MIA Service Center 

 

The Service Center Support representative will provide overall administrative support to the Maintenance facility, ensure that all operating standards, invoices, parts and tire purchases, and all shop work orders and invoice processing are completed according to policy and procedure.

 

Apart from religious observations, must be available to work the following schedule:

Tuesday-- Friday 10am—6:30pm and Saturday 7am—3:30pm

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Communicating and negotiating the lowest possible parts prices while ensuring timely delivery of ordered parts.
  • Monitoring vehicles in repair shops and body shops for timely repair completion and return.
  • Acting as primary dealer contact for deliveries and establishing delivery process.
  • Tracking and monitoring dealer credits on returned parts and implementing a tracking system of warranty parts.
  • Collaborating with technicians regarding needs and developing efficiencies in the ordering process.
  • Processing all maintenance-related invoices for payment in Service Pro.
  • Tracking, monitoring, and maintaining current tire and filter inventory.
  • Reconciling and maintaining body shop and dealer vehicle inventory.
  • Accurately inventorying shopped units to the correct rental station.
  • Conducting damage history research and inspection of re-sales prior to turning in.

Qualifications

 

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Must have a valid drivers license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
  • No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Must be willing to accept $19.00/hour
  • Must have basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word/Excel)
  • Minimum of 1 year experience handling mechanical service procedures to perform fleet maintenance activities preferred (preferred)
