The National/Alamo brand of Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Maintenance Technician located at our Service Center: 865 Old Albany Shaker Rd Latham, NY 12110. 

The Maintenance Technician performs car repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and buy back/turn back service according to company policy and procedures. This is a position of routine difficulty requiring the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.

This pay for this position starts at $23 / hour.

Maintenance Technician Benefits:

• $0.75 / hour increase per ASE Certification (up to four - A1, A2, A4, A5, A7, G1 & X1)

• Sunday: 10:00am-6:30pm
• Monday: 10:00am-6:30pm
• Tuesday: 10:00am-6:30pm
• Wednesday: 10:00am-6:30pm
• Thursday: 10:00am-6:30pm
• Friday: OFF
• Saturday: OFF

• Must have at least 1 year of experience handling automotive mechanical service procedures
• The ability to operate a motor vehicle is an essential function of this position. Applicants must have a valid, unrestricted U.S. driver's license
• NYS Motor Vehicle Inspector license (preferred, but required within the first 6 months of employment)
• Requires ownership of standard hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance on current vehicles (produced in the last 5 years)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Aside from religious observances, must be available to work an average of 40 hours per week, including weekends
• Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
